I have always wanted to be a teacher. In my third grade journal, I wrote that I wanted to be a teacher when I grow up because it would be fun to write on the chalkboard. Well, I've learned there are many fun things about being a teacher! I went to Bridgewater State and then Lesley University for my Master's in Elementary Education. I spent two years working in a second grade classroom, then worked as a K-3 Title One teacher.
In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, including my nephew Samuel. He's two years old and I'm sure you'll hear a lot about him. I enjoy running and have completed a half-marathon! When I have time, I enjoy baking and trying new recipes, including my own homemade ice cream.
I look forward to getting to know you!
