Boston Water & Sewer

Ms. Cillo, from Boston Water and Sewer came to our class to teach us about water and how to keep the sewers clean. Scholars learned that fats, oils, and grease should never go down the sink. Also, the only thing that should be flushed is toilet paper. Tissues and flushable wipes do not go down the toilet!

Our first visit with our PreK buddies!

This year, K1A and 3rd grade scholars are going to be reading buddies. Scholars will be reading to the PreK scholars and doing different activities each week. The scholars had a great time!

Can you save Fred?

Fred the worm had drowned and we needed to save him. In order to save him, we had to rescue Fred and get him back in his life preserver. Scholars used a cup, 4 paper clips, a gummy life saver, and a gummy worm. They all realized they needed to use the paperclips to stretch out the gummy life saver in order to get Fred inside. Great work!
